In a Come From Behind Upset, an Ugly Step-Sister Becomes a Cinderella Story

THE NEXT "FAR, FAR AWAY IDOL" IS...

DORIS

Glendale, CA (November 8, 2004) – With over three quarters of a million votes counted, DreamWorks Home Entertainment announced the winner of its heavily campaigned and highly competitive singer's showdown featured exclusively on the Shrek 2 VHS and DVD released on Friday, November 5th... and the next "Far, Far Away Idol" is... Doris (voiced by Larry King).

The irreverently funny send-up of one of today's most popular programs, "Far, Far Away Idol" invited viewers to log on to a DreamWorks website or call a toll free number to cast their vote for their favorite singing character. The dark horse contestant Doris pulled off a popular vote upset with her outrageous rendition of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun"
